What made you sign up for Zero2Hero?

Two things. When I came out of rehab I wanted to give something back to others less fortunate than myself. My girlfriend lost her mother to cancer and suggested it really helped her with personal issues. It really helped me with my anxiety and pushed me out of my comfort zone.

What did you enjoy the most about the course?

I made some good friends along the course of the training camp. We had a good team bond and I found that I could do something I never thought I was able to do.

What did you learn?

I learnt discipline, control and that I could push through my fear and conquer it and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I actually enjoyed the experience a lot more than I thought I would.

Would you recommend it to a friend?

I would encourage anyone to take on the challenge and raise money for a great cause and get fit and learn something new at the same time. Best, most humbling experience of my life. So glad I did it.
